Together with 5 donors we made sure Sylvester's school cost was paid for the 2013-2014 academic school year! Now we are fundraising for Sylvester's 2014-2015 academic year

UPDATE: Since being accepted to nKoso in the spring of 2013, the death of his father and his mother's recent unemployment have caused their financial situation to remain unstable. Please help us guarantee an education for Sylvester in the upcoming 2014-2015 academic school year.

Sylvester is 6 years old and in 1st grade. He lives in a rural community in the Brong Ahafo region of Ghana. Many people in the community are not formally educated and struggle to earn sustainable income. It is not uncommon for students education to be disrupted due to financial instability. If student's parents aren't able to pay their school fees, students are sent home and their progress is delayed.

Sylvester enjoys learning English and math, and hopes to become a teacher when he grows up. His father passed away, so the burden of providing for the family falls on his mother alone. She has two children, including Sylvester and it isn't easy to provide for her family.

Sylvester needs $126 to go to school for a year. His father's death affects his mother's ability to provide for her family. She needs our help. Donate toward Sylvester's education today!
